The Okarche Lady Warriors are looking to build off of the success they had last season that saw them advance to the area round of the playoffs. Head coach Brett Tahah’s squad has a lot of familiar faces that are ready to make a deep playoff run. “We have high expectations coming into the 2024-25 season,” Tahah said. “We return five seniors who all have had significant playing time and have an amazing sophomore and freshman class to go with them.”
Katie Parham (5-9, So.) will be the motor for the team. She has the potential to lead the team in scoring and assists. She can score at all three levels and will be a problem for a lot of teams this year. Callie Cramer (6-0, So.) has the ability to play inside or outside and she has the potential to have a breakout season. A hard worker, Avery Schieber (5-9, Sr.) does all the dirty work night in and night out. She takes charges, all loose balls are hers, she’s a defensive stopper, and she never misses a blockout.
She will play a majority of the game, have a big time impact, and do whatever it takes for the team to be successful. Scout Payne (5-5, Sr.) is an outstanding teammate and will be a leader on the team this season. The other members of the team that will work to make an impact are Harper White (5-8, Sr.), Kylie Harper (5-6, Sr.), Katy Creswell (5-2, Sr.), Kate Baustert (5-7, Jr.), Ally Baustert (5’11, Jr.), Emma Alig (5-4, So.), Emory West (5-5, Fr.), and Logan White (6-0, Fr.).
