The Hennessey Eagles are looking to make a return trip to the state tournament this season. But they do not plan to come home empty handed. Head coach Dallas Hunt is looking forward to getting the season started and seeing what the team is able to accomplish. “We have a very exciting team for the upcoming season,” Hunt said. “We return many players off the state tournament team from last year with some great incoming freshmen added in.”
Camdyn Richardson is a senior point guard. He has averaged 20 points, five rebounds, and seven assists over his high school career, and he joined the 1,000 point club last season. Richardson has also been an All-Conference selection every season of his high school career. Another player that will look to make an impact this season is freshman Hagen Copeland. Standing six-foot-three, he will be a force this season and for seasons to come. He is coming off a great junior high season where his team did not lose a game. He had a great summer transitioning into his high school role.
