BOISE CITY WILDCATS

Coach: JUSTIN HOUSE

4-6

OFFENSE

The Wildcats fell just shy of making the postseason last season. But as they enter this new season, head coach Justin House is excited to see the growth in his team this year. “We had a very young team last year,” he said. “We gained a lot of experience last year and look forward to seeing this group compete this next season.” Aidyn Gonzalez (5-7, 130, So.) will lead the offense at quarterback. He is a strong competitor and will be a solid leader for the team. Joining him in the backfield will be running backs Ridge Arthaud (6-0, 205, Jr.) and Aldo Morales (6-1, 170, So.). Both will work to find the open running lanes and get into the open field. Aiden Crabtree (5-10, 135, So.) will be a target for Gonzalez on the outside at wide receiver. He will look to get open and pull down any passes thrown his way. At tight end, Samuel Gonzalez (6-0, 220, So.) will spend time blocking the defense and catching some passes. Anchoring the offensive line will be Baylor Crabtree (5-10, 225, Jr.).

DEFENSE

Last season, the Wildcats had a solid defensive game plan, only giving up an average of 26 points per game. They will look to continue that type of play and keep the opponents big plays to a minimum. Arthaud and Morales will be at linebacker and ready to defend whatever the offense throws their way. Up front, Cash Desbien (5-10, 215, Jr.), Crabtree, and S. Gonzalez will all work to wreak havoc on the defensive line and be a disruption to their opponents. In the secondary, A. Gonzalez will patrol and keep an eye out for the big pass plays. Assistant coaches this season are Tory Crawford and Chase Loyd.
