Woodward High School’s Rylon Arnold is comfortable shooting targets or taking a shot on goal. Arnold is a member of the FFA chapter at WHS and a member of the varsity soccer team.
“I got involved in FFA my 7th grade year,” said Arnold. “I joined FFA to do shooting sports.”
Shooting is not the only thing Arnold enjoys about being a member of the FFA chapter.
“I enjoy all the building and welding we do,” Arnold said. “I am involved in Woodward’s FFA shooting sports and I do not show animals. You can learn a lot of new things and maybe you can find your career that you want to do when you’re older.”
As a member of the soccer team, Arnold said he loves how competitive his teammates are and how they push one another.
“My soccer teams are all really competitive and it is really hard, and they will push you until you get to where you should be on the field,” said Arnold.
Also in the Oklahoma AIM program, Arnold said he plans to continue shooting once his high school days come to an end.
“After high school I plan on going to college to shoot,” said Arnold. “I enjoy going out and shooting with my friends and family or just going to hang out with my friends.”
