VYPE: What grade are you in and what sports do you play?

Caisen: I am a sophomore at Woodward High School. I play baseball and golf.

VYPE: Who inspires you?

Caisen: My older brother, Talbot. I’ve always pursued to be a better version of him and I continue to look up to him.

VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you?

Caisen: Cooper Littau because he pushes to do my best and always gives me the confidence I need.

VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade?

Caisen: My favorite teacher was my elementary teacher, Mrs. Stefanie Dixon. She always made learning fun and interesting.

VYPE: Which professional athlete do you look up to?

Caisen: I look up to Mookie Betts. He has always inspired me because he proves that size doesn’t matter to be great.

VYPE: What accomplishment or memory are you most proud of?

Caisen: My favorite accomplishment would have to be hitting two home runs in a single game on my summer league team.

VYPE: What has your sport taught you that makes you a better person?

Caisen: Baseball has taught me to live play by play and to shake off my mistakes. I try to forget the past and focus on the present and my future.

VYPE: What is the best advice that anyone has given you?

Caisen: “Don’t be afraid to fail because that’s what builds you as a person” which was advice my grandpa, Clair Craighead, gave me.

VYPE: Here is your chance to give a shoutout or say thank you to anyone you wish.

Caisen: I would like to shout out to my mom for always believing in me.
