VYPE: What grade are you in and what sports and clubs are you involved in?
Taylor: I am a sophomore at Woodward High School where I play basketball and soccer. I also
play on a club soccer team. I am a member of the National Honor Society.
VYPE: What has your sport taught you that makes you a better person?
Taylor: My sports have taught me resilience and discipline. It makes me a better person
because I don’t allow failure to determine my future.
VYPE: What is your favorite part about representing your high school as an athlete?
Taylor: My favorite thing about playing for my school is all the memories and friendships I have
been able to make.
VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you?
Taylor: The teammate that has left the biggest impression on me is Jocelyn Treece. She was
my best friend on and off the court and my biggest supporter. She never let me get in my head
and always pushed me to get better everyday.
VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade?
Taylor: My favorite teacher is my third grade teacher. She taught me discipline and pushed me
to be better.
VYPE: Who inspires you?
Taylor: My mom inspires me because she pushes me to be the best I can and makes me want
to be better. She is the toughest person I know and has taught me to be proud of who I am
while being mindful.
VYPE: What is the best advice that anyone has given you?
Taylor: The best advice I’ve received is focus on what you can control and leave the rest to
God.
VYPE: What is your all-time favorite meal?
Taylor: My all time favorite meal is my Nanna’s hash brown casserole.
VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation, where do you go and who do you take
with you?
Taylor: I would pick Hawaii, and take my sister, Makale.
