VYPE: What grade are you in and what sports and extracurricular activities are you involved in?
Steinar: I am a junior at Woodward High School. I play tennis, run cross country, and I am in the marching band.
VYPE: What accomplishment or memory are you most proud of?
Steinar: My biggest accomplishment is making state for cross country.
VYPE: What has your sport taught you that makes you a better person?
Steinar: All of the sports I am active in have taught me that, if you are determined to achieve something then you must work just as hard to get it.
VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you?
Steinar: There was a senior, Evan Dunn, who always had an upbeat attitude towards everything and I definitely think his view of people and the world has left an impact on me as a person.
VYPE: What is your favorite part about representing your high school as an athlete?
Steinar: My favorite part about representing my school as an athlete is when I perform really well and subsequently make the school perform very well.
VYPE: Who inspires you?
Steinar: When I think about inspiration I always tend to think about my dad and what he is willing to do for us.
VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade?
Steinar: I really like my teacher Mrs. Spicer, because I believe she is turning me into a better writer.
VYPE: What is the best advice that anyone has given you?
Steinar: “You can’t know a person by first glance. Sometimes it takes some courage to get up there and talk to them, and when you do that, then you’ll truly get to know them.”

Steinar: If I’m being honest there’s a lot of people to thank. Everyone that I’ve met throughout my entire life has shaped who I am and I just hope that they realize how important that each and every single one of them mean to me.
