Q&A with Woodward’s Adlyn Case – Presented by The Stock Exchange Bank

VYPE: What do you love most about being a student-athlete at Woodward HS?

Case: It is super fun to be with my other teammates on and off the field and I love that the teachers work flexibly with us student-athletes as far as assignments.

VYPE: What grade are you in and what is your favorite subject?

Case: This is my freshman year and my favorite subject is English I Pre-AP.

VYPE: How long have you been playing softball and what position do you play? If you could play any other position on the field, which would it be?

Case: I have been playing softball for seven years.  I play second base/pitcher. If I could play any other position on the field it would be first base.

VYPE: What is your favorite pre-game and post-game meal?

Case: Pre-game I love to eat pizza rolls and post-game I want to eat anything!

VYPE: Where is your favorite place to play and why?

Case: My favorite place to play is at home on the Boomer Softball Field because we have the best fans and I love their loud cheering!

VYPE: What opponent do you look forward to playing this season?

Case: I can’t wait to play Weatherford so I get to compete against one of my travel ball teammates.

VYPE: Who on the team keeps everyone laughing, who is the most serious and who has the best impression of your coach?

Case: Reggie (Yadira Reyes) keeps us laughing.  As far as who is the most serious, it depends on the day.  Kamber Clark definitely has the best impression of Coach Dauphin.

VYPE: Who has been a big influence in your life? Explain.

Case: My dad, Brandon Case, has been a huge influence in my life. He is always encouraging me to grow stronger and more resilient as an athlete and as a person.

VYPE: What would you like to do after you graduate?

Case: After high school graduation, I hope to play college softball and I am considering becoming an athletic trainer.
