VYPE: How long have you been in cross country? What first got you interested in the sport?
Finley: I have competed in XC for five years. My friends were all doing it and I wanted to try it out.
VYPE: What grade are you in? What is your favorite subject in school?
Finley: I am a sophomore and my favorite subject in school is English.
VYPE: Do you have a favorite memory in your time competing for your high school?
Finley: My favorite memory would have to be last year when we won state.
VYPE: Do you have a favorite opponent to compete against? If so, why?
Finley: I think my favorite opponent would just be bigger schools that we race at state.
VYPE: What do your teammates mean to you?
Finley: My teammates are awesome, they push me to get better and they are fun to race with.
VYPE: Do you have any pre-game or post-game rituals?
Finley: My pre-game ritual would have to be praying before every race.
VYPE: Are you involved in any other sports or activities?
Finley: Yes, I am in softball, basketball, and track.
VYPE: Who do you look to as a role model?
Finley: I look up to a lot of the upperclassmen on my team.
VYPE: What are your plans after high school?
Finley: I would like to go to college or I would like to play basketball in college.
