Hooker Bulldogs Basketball – Presented by First National Bank of Hooker

The Bulldogs are coming off of a successful season that saw them make a trip to the state tournament. Head coach Todd Kerr is looking forward to seeing his team’s growth this season. “We hope to continue to build on our successes of last season,” Kerr said. Keilan Robinson (6-2, Jr.) is a do-everything guard that is also a three-level scorer. He is a good rebounder and an excellent passer.

His athleticism will give him the opportunity to play at the next level. Another guy that will look to have an impact this season is Nate Hidalgo (6-7, Sr.). He is a great defender and shot blocker. He is very long and can shoot the three. Justin Palacios (5-10, So.) is a super athletic young man that is developing his skill level and knowledge of the game at a high rate. A guy that is always ready to do whatever he can to help his team win, Cale Metcalf (6-3, Sr.) will play a role off the bench and will help his team each time his number is called. Peyton Parker (6-1, Sr.) is a banger that will do the dirty work on the defensive end of the court.

As a Senior, he has paid his dues and understands what he can do to help his team. Other members of the team to keep an eye out for are Callen Duncan (5-6, Fr.), Gannon Hill (5-9, Jr.), Omar Gomez (5-9, Fr.), Ryker Hill (5-7, Fr.), Gunnar Martens (5-11, So.), Hunter Ray (5-10, Jr.), Kleat Martens (5-10, Sr.), Adan Diaz (5-9, Fr.), Slade Stalder (6-6, Sr.), Trace Duncan (6- 0, Sr.), John Davis (5-11, Sr.), Luis Ibarra (5-7, Jr.), and Ulises Casas (6-4, So.),
