2025 Sharon-Mutual Trojans Football Preview – Presented by Farm Credit of Western Oklahoma

SHARON-MUTUAL TROJANS

Coach: TONY WICKWARE

2-6

OFFENSE

Coming into the 2025 season, the Trojans are looking to grow from last season and see progress. Head coach Tony Wickware says that despite the youth on his squad, he looks for them to have a solid season. “We graduated five seniors from the 2024 team,” he said. “So we will be very young this season. The team will be led by sophomore Noah Wickware, who will play quarterback and linebacker. Most of our team will be all freshmen and sophomores, except for senior Cody Vassar, who will be at guard and Nose guard. Although we will be young, we will still be an explosive team with much heart and speed.” Noah Wickware (6’0, 175, So.) has the potential to be a dual threat, depending on what the defense gives him. Joining him in the backfield will be two outstanding backs in fullback Cooper Hutt (6’0, 190, So.) and running back Elliott Weese (5’7, 160, So.). Making running lanes for them to get to open space will be offensive linemen Cody Vassar (6’1, 165, Sr.) and Reese Durkee (6’0, 210, So.). They are both strong and physical and will do a solid job of keeping the defense out of the backfield. Another playmaker to keep an eye on is tight end Creed White (5’11, 180, Fr.).

DEFENSE

The Trojan defense will work to slow down their opponent and get the ball back to the Sharon-Mutual offense. Wreaking havoc up front on the defensive line will be Vassar, Hutt, and Trevor James (6’1, 180, Fr.). These three will muddy things up on the line and be a disruption. Wickware and White will be at linebacker with their heads on swivels and ready to attack wherever the ball goes. In the secondary, Weese will patrol and be ready to shut down any big plays.
