Maddux Beck – Alva
Maddux is a big and strong post player. He did not see any significant playing time a year ago but had a great summer and is projected to have an impact for Alva this season.
Hayden Roberts and Price Poe – Cherokee
Hayden is an outstanding guard that can shoot, handle the ball, finishes well, has great court vision, and great change of pace which makes him difficult to guard. Price is an athletic post player who can stretch the floor. Price also has some guard-like skills with handling the basketball which will help him create some matchup problems for others.
Tayden Hamilton – Chisholm
Tayden is a sophomore who showed great upside his freshman year. He shoots the ball exceptionally well and he continues to grow. He will look to have a bigger role this year and moving forward.
Hagen Copeland – Hennessey
Copeland is coming off a great junior high season where his team did not lose a game. He had a great summer transitioning into his high school role.
Justin Palacios – Hooker
Super athletic youngster that is developing his skill level and knowledge of the game at a high rate.
Daxx Compton – Kingfisher
Daxx is a great kid that works hard and is always ready to put it on the line for his team.
Zakry Masters – Laverne
Masters knows and loves the game of basketball and he has worked hard to get where he is today.
Wyatt VanZee – Mooreland
Whether he is on the court or in the classroom, VanZee works hard at whatever he is doing.
Koy Schneider – Oklahoma Bible Academy
Koy has the qualities to serve a vital role on the team, both currently and in the future. He is a high-level athlete and competitor in everything he does.
Elijah Hernandez – Texhoma
Hernandez came around in the second half of the season as a freshman. He is a competitor that will give you 100% effort all the time. He is a player that can hit the three pointer or a player that can play with his back to the basket.
Kadon Gaines – Woodward
Kadon is an incoming freshman that plays as a small forward and shooting guard. He can also go inside and do post ups. He has a lot of natural talent and brings a lot of energy to the team.
Girls Basketball
Preslie Jones – Alva
Jones is long and athletic, runs the floor well, and she has a high IQ. Shoots from three well and can score right and left in the post.
Tenley Mulbery – Balko-Forgan
Freshmen point guard that will make an immediate impact. She can see the floor extremely well but can also shoot from behind the arc. She is a tireless worker and is always finding ways to get better.
Talyn Allison – Cherokee
Very athletic and talented player. Just needs some time on the court which she will get this season.
Melissa Clark – Chisholm
Sophomore returning as point guard and will have the task of running the show this year. Her ball handling skills combined with her leadership makes her the perfect court general and the potential to have a breakout season.
Harlee Hamar – Fairview
Harlee could potentially have a big year for Fairview. She is a great athlete and will gain a lot more playing time and confidence in her sophomore season. She is a great all-around player and she should be able to play multiple positions on the court.
Aubri Steinert – Garber
Aubri is a freshman that will give Garber depth at the point guard position. She can shoot the three and score off the dribble.
Star Torres – Hennessey
Star started every game last season as a freshman. She was one of the team’s leading scorers last season and steadily improved every game. Star is a fierce competitor and led her team in steals and deflections last season.
Mattie Slezickey – Kingfisher
Mattie Slezickey is coming into her sophomore year after getting valuable minutes last year as a freshman. She is a quick shifty guard that is a playmaker on both ends of the floor. She sees the floor well and will be a threat from the three point line.
Katy Jo Hayes – Kremlin-Hillsdale
Katy Jo will be the starting point guard this year. She sees the floor extremely well. Quick, good finisher at the rim.
Kassidy Kilian – Medford
Kassidy is a left handed threat defensively and offensively. Great kid and teammate.
Maddee Brickman – Okeene
Maddee started last year as a freshman. She had a great summer in the weight room and in the gym and she has become a better shooter.
Alana Banks – Pond Creek-Hunter
Alana has the potential to become a difference maker on the floor. She is an outstanding athlete with the ability to get around most defenders and has a great feel for causing havoc on defense.
Baylee Chain – Seiling
Freshman who can really score, looks to have a big season for a solid Seiling team.
Aven McDaniel – Texhoma
Aven has the potential to get lots of minutes this season. Played some big minutes this summer, spent every day of the off season in the gym on her own running, and getting shots up. If she can step up, and fill a role for the Lady Red Devils, she has the chance to have a great freshman season.
Kieara Grant – Vici
Point guard that is very fast and can pull up quickly from anywhere.
Jayla Ross – Watonga
Jayla is a freshman post that is really strong and athletic. She is good around the rim and she can also stretch the floor and shoot the three.
Kaleigh Mills – Woodward
Kaleigh was a part time starter as a freshman last year. The hardest worker on the court at all times, she will raise the level of intensity for the Lady Boomers.
