
VYPE: How long have you competed in football?
Luka: I’ve played football for nine years.
VYPE: What first got you interested in the sport?
Luka: My dad got me into the sport and it has stuck since then.
VYPE: Do you have a favorite memory in your time competing for your high school?
Luka: My favorite memory was Ponca City when I got my first full sack.
VYPE: Do you have a favorite opponent to compete against? If so, why?
Luka: My favorite opponent is definitely Bixby – they usually make me better.
VYPE: What do your teammates mean to you? Is there anyone on the team who pushes you to sharpen your skills?
Luka: I love every single one of my teammates. Colt and Wyatt Newman definitely help me get better each practice.
VYPE: Do you have any pre-game or post-game rituals?
Luka: I don’t do anything special except listen to music.
VYPE: Who do you look to as a role model?
Luka: My dad is my biggest role model, he was and still is a great athlete. He’s a great human overall and will always keep me going.
VYPE: Are you involved in any other sports or activities?
Luka: I’m a powerlifter at Enid and placed fourth in state last year.
VYPE: What are your plans after high school?
Luka: I plan to play football in college and hopefully move on to the next level.
