Q&A with Chisholm’s Jase Hennigh – Presented by Ladusau Evans Funeral Home

VYPE: What grade are you in and what sports do you play?

Jase: I am a sophomore at Chisholm High School. I play football and baseball.

VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you?

Jase: My teammate Easton John, because of the energy he brings everyday and his commitment to bettering his teammates has led me to become a better athlete.

VYPE: What is your favorite part about representing your high school as an athlete?

Jase: My favorite part is being looked up to by the little kids in the community and knowing that I have a standard to maintain because keeping their respect is important to me.

VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade?

Jase: My Freshman English teacher, Ms. Angiano, because she demanded a lot from us as students, allowing me to realize that hard work pays off.

VYPE: Which professional athlete do you look up to?

Jase: I look up to and respect Tim Tebow as a person and athlete for the impact he continues to make  on people’s lives while sharing his faith and spreading the gospel.

VYPE: Who inspires you?

Jase: My dad inspires me because of his selflessness. I believe he has made a big Impact on the lives of many people because of the time he commits to help others.

VYPE: What accomplishment or memory are you most proud of?

Jase: Committing to my strength and conditioning and transforming my body while staying true to myself.

VYPE: What is the best advice that anyone has given you?

Jase: Whether it’s a great play or making a mistake you have to maintain a short term memory and stay focused because it’s always the next play that matters.

VYPE: Are you involved in any other activities?

Jase: I am involved in the National Honor Society, Student Council, and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
