Enid Pacers Basketball – Presented by Daniel Snyder Shelter Insurance

The Pacers are coming into this season ready to build off of last year. While they might not have a lot of game time under their belts, they are ready to learn and grow this season and show what they can do. “We are excited about the season,” said head coach Aly Seng. “We are young and we don’t have a lot of experience on the floor but they are a competitive group.

They work hard and want to get better. Because of that, they will. We are looking forward to a fun year.” A player looking to be an impact on the team is Anabelle Miller. She can play inside and out. She can score anywhere near the basket, has a great jump shot, and can shoot the three. She is a great defender and rebounder with relentless effort. Amarianna Solomon is a guard that can score in all three phases. She can get to the rim, shoot a jump shot and shoot the three. An outstanding teammate and player, Olivia McCoy is also a great three point shooter. Defensively, she plays tough in the middle of the zone and rebounds the ball well. Olivia does all the little things and never complains. Talaira Williams brings energy to the court.

Her intensity and speed is a difference maker for the team. She dishes the ball well to her teammates and does whatever is needed to help her team. Someone that will look to be a big contributor this season is Gracie Combrink. She is a hard worker that always leaves it out on the court. Peyton Kilbourne has battled health issues and continues to defy the odds and play basketball at a high level. She will look to be a solid player this season. Sage Haffner is a senior that helps her team  in all areas. She does what is asked and coaches know they can count on her to do what is best for the team.
