Leading the way is senior Jade Davis, a four-year starter whose versatility has made her a cornerstone of the program. Davis has contributed everywhere on the field during her career, from catcher to the infield and outfield, and will also be counted on for innings in the circle this season. Her year-round commitment to the sport, including a busy travel schedule, reflects her dedication and sets the tone for the rest of the roster. Her ability to adapt and fill any role will be difficult to replace after graduation.
Junior Emalea Hicks emerged as one of the team’s top offensive threats last season, leading the lineup with a .410 batting average. A transfer who made an immediate impact, Hicks brings speed and athleticism that creates pressure on opposing defenses. While she primarily played in the outfield, her role could expand into the infield as she continues to grow into a leadership position and provide stability at the top of the order.
Sophomore Tinley Goodman adds another dynamic presence near the top of the lineup. After earning a starting role as a freshman, Goodman established herself as a reliable centerfielder with the ability to handle the bat and create opportunities on the bases. Senior Makenna Ridgway provides leadership in a different form, setting the standard through work ethic and consistency. Known for being the first to arrive and last to leave, she leads by example and brings a steady presence to the team’s daily approach.
