VYPE: What do you love most about being a student-athlete at Woodward HS?
Mills: What I love most about being a student athlete here is the community. The widespread support and enthusiasm whether we win or lose is priceless. It means a lot whether I’m at church, eating out, or running errands around town, they are always interested in how we are doing.
VYPE: What grade are you in and what position do you play?
Mills: I am a junior and I play post and occasionally forward.
VYPE: When did you start playing basketball?
Mills: I started playing in kindergarten and played up on a first and second grade team.
VYPE: What is your favorite pre-game and post-game meal?
Mills: My favorite pre-game meal would be a Twisters drink and snack, but most importantly the Twisters drink! My post-game meal would be a hamburger and fries from Braums!
VYPE: Which teammate always impresses you the most or do you have a former teammate who left an impression on you?
Mills: Kaitlyn Culp is the one who stands out to me the most, she’s a hard worker and is always up lifting whether it’s me or my teammates. In practice, she pushes me to get better every day. All around Kaitlyn is a great teammate and a fun person to be around!
