Chisholm’s Kinsley Randolph – FFA Spotlight – Presented by Farm Credit of Western Oklahoma

When Chisholm High School’s Kinsley Randolph started playing softball she was in the seventh grade. A year later she added FFA to her schedule as well. Both are passions for Randolph as she looks forward to participating in both every year.

Being a great teammate on the softball team is important to Randolph and helping her team compete is a top priority, but something she loves about this group is how well everyone gets along.

“I love that we always hang out and we always have fun with whatever we are doing,” said Randolph.

The junior said she finds inspiration to accomplish her goals from someone close to home.

“My biggest inspiration in life is my mom. She played softball when she was growing up and she made All-State in it and that really inspired me to become better at softball to try and make All-State as well. Away from school she is somebody that I really look up to and really inspires me to be the best that I can be. She also inspires me in life to go and take the risk because you never know where that risk will lead you to,” said Randolph.

In FFA, Randolph is active in several activities and would like to carry what’s she learned through FFA into college.

“I show sheep, I am on the officer team, cattle grading, livestock judging, opening and closing ceremonies, and green hand quiz,” Randolph said. “After I graduate, I want to go to OSU and go to vet school.”

Away from the softball field, Randolph said she enjoys being in the barn and hanging out with friends.

“I enjoy spending my free time going to the barn and working my sheep and hanging out with my friends,” Randolph said. “My best friend Makenna is somebody that makes everybody on the team laugh. She also gives her best effort every time she steps onto the field she will give her best effort.”
