2025 Buffalo Football Preview – Presented by Farm Credit of Western Oklahoma

BUFFALO BISON

Coach: DUSTY YAUK

3-7

OFFENSE

The Bison are looking to build on last season and work towards a playoff berth. Head coach Dusty Yauk is optimistic about his team this season. “We will be young and few,” he said. “But I like what we will be able to put on the field. As usual, health and growth will play a major role in

how we finish.” Leading the offense will be quarterback Eloy Estrada (5-10, 175, Jr.). Joining him in the backfield is Pedro Rodriguez (5-9, 155, Jr.) at running back. He is a solid runner who has a knack for finding open running lanes. The guys upfront will play a big role in the team’s offensive success. Offensive linemen Lathan Clark (6-0, 230, Sr.), Isaac Sarabia (6-0, 230, Sr.), and Juan Ibarra (6-0, 220, So.) will work to keep the defense at bay.

DEFENSE

On the defensive side of the ball, the Bison will look to keep the opponent’s big plays to a minimum. Ibarra will anchor the defensive line and wreak havoc up front. Linebackers Estrada and Rodriguez will have their heads on a swivel, working to keep to ball in front of them. Christian Turbyfill (6-2, 175, So.) will patrol the secondary. Assistant coaches are Ryan Nelson, JJ Manning, and Aaron Zachary.
