SHATTUCK INDIANS
Coach: JOE GARRISON
7-4
OFFENSE
The Shattuck Indians are looking to build off of last season and make some noise come playoff time. After making an early first-round exit a year ago, the Indians will lean on a strong senior class to make a deeper run. Leading the offense will be quarterback Tead Woods (6-1, 180, Sr.). He is a solid athlete who will get the ball where it needs to go. Running back Jose Nunez (6-0, 165, Sr.) will be joining him in the backfield, looking for open running lanes and trying to find the end zone. Opening up those running lanes will be the offensive line, which will be anchored by Hipolito Sarabia (5-11, 210, Sr.) and Kalen Berends (6-2, 255, Sr.).
DEFENSE
On defense, the Indians will work to attack the ball and limit the opponent’s big plays. Two of the key players on defense will be linebackers Connor Howard (5-11, 170, Jr.) and Cade Crowder (5-11, 195, Sr.). Both are strong and physical players who are not afraid to take on opponents. Up front, defensive lineman Coleman Neubauer (6-2, 180, Sr.) will be wreaking havoc and trying to get into the backfield and be a disruption. Dodger Sloan (5-8, 160, Jr.) will be on patrol in the secondary and will be ready when any passes are thrown his way. An underclassman to keep an eye on this year is Andrew Quisenberry. Assistant coaches this season are Troy Bullard, Clay Stewart, and Josh Kibby.
