Koy is proud to represent his school and community. Koy proclaimed, “It means a lot to me to represent my school and community.  I know when I put on my jerseys with the Bible on my chest, I am called to play the game in a way that honors the Lord.”

As far as what it has taken to become successful in sports, Koy stated, “It has taken a lot of dedication in the weight room and practicing every chance I get.  I also spend a lot of time watching films to help improve my game. I think staying humble is important because I know I need to keep working hard to get better each season.”

In regards to his biggest role model, he looks towards a coach. Koy stated, “I would say my biggest role model was my batting coach, Steve Finch.  He always pushed me to my potential and helped me become the player I am today. Even though it has been a few years since he has been my coach, he still comes to my games and gives me advice when I ask.”

In addition to playing football, baseball, basketball, and running track, Koy holds the honor of being Vice President of his class.

After graduating from high school, Koy plans on pursuing higher education. Koy stated, “I would love to play baseball at the collegiate level.  I also plan to eventually take over the family farm.”

Besides playing sports and pursuing academics, Koy loves to be in the outdoors. Koy stated, “I love to hunt and fish in my free time.”
