KREMLIN-HILLSDALE BRONCS

Coach: JAMES WORLEY

0-10

OFFENSE

The Broncs are eager to leave last season behind and begin anew with a clean slate. Head coach James Worley’s squad features a solid mix of experienced upperclassmen and promising underclassmen who have put in the work during the offseason. “We’ll have a full roster this year, thanks in part to a large freshman class stepping up to round out the team,” Worley said. “We’ll be young on the offensive line, but we have good size up front.” The offense will be anchored by two standout athletes. Senior running back Chase Pirtle (5-8, 170) returns for his fourth season as a starter. Known for his vision and knack for gaining tough yards, Pirtle is expected to be a key playmaker. At quarterback, junior Tyler Smith (6-0, 160) brings a high football IQ and the ability to make every throw needed to move the chains and keep the offense rolling. A new face to watch is tight end Taryn Ashlock, who adds both size and skill to the offense. He’s expected to make a meaningful impact this season as he grows into his role.

DEFENSE

Defensively, the Broncs will focus on limiting the run game and preventing big plays through the air. Chase Pirtle returns at linebacker, where he was a key contributor last season. A strong leader both on and off the field, Pirtle excels at getting his teammates aligned and ready on every play. In the secondary, quarterback Tyler Smith will pull double duty, using his awareness and quick instincts to track passing threats and keep an eye on backs coming out of the backfield. Joining the coaching staff this season is assistant coach Matt McMullen, who brings added support and experience to the team.
