Throughout an athlete’s career, there is a lot of blood, sweat, and tears that are shed in order to reach their goals. Aiden Hall has one memory that stands out as his favorite because he and his teammates were able to see their hard work pay off.
“The highlight of my career would have to be being a part of my baseball team and helping our team be district runner-ups for the first time in the program’s history,” he stated. Hall is a junior at Cherokee Public Schools. Along with baseball, he also plays football. Away from sports, Aiden is taking the Auto Tech program at Northwest Technology Center in Alva.
There are people in his life that have helped shape Aiden into the person that he is today.
“My biggest influences are my grandma, dad, uncle, and my great grandpa,” he said. “They’ve been there for me and taught me all I know. They have given me advice to get through life and my dad and grandma were my first coaches for baseball and they keep teaching me new things to do to help me get better at it. My uncle has been there teaching me alongside my dad, grandma, and great grandpa teaching me good work ethic and giving me the advice I need to get through life.”
Wearing the Cherokee uniform is something that is important to Hall. He also has a certain team that he enjoys competing against.
“It means a lot to be able to represent my school,” he said. “There’s a lot of people that support the school’s sports and we’re big on sports here. The team I like to get a win against the most is Medford because it’s a win that boosts the team’s spirit whenever we get into a slump and allows some of our players that don’t start a chance to get in the game and some play time and live at bats.”
