Oklahoma Bible Academy’s Reagan Miller – Tennis Spotlight – Presented by RibCrib

Reagan Miller’s journey into tennis began in an unexpected way—with her sister’s initial reluctance to play. “I started playing tennis when my sister started her tennis career. She was in middle school, and her coach needed players. My parents made her try it, and she ended up loving it. Naturally, I wanted to follow in her footsteps. Nearly eight years later, we’re still playing and loving every minute of it.” Reagan’s story is one of family inspiration, perseverance, and love for the game that continues to shape her life at Oklahoma Bible Academy.
Now 17 years old, Reagan has embraced tennis not just as a sport but as a way of life. “My mom has also been a massive contributor to my love of tennis. She believed in me even when I didn’t believe in myself,” she said. “I could not ask for a better mom. She’s sacrificed so much for me, and I’m beyond grateful.”
This year, Reagan takes on the number one singles spot for her team, stepping into a leadership role she views as both an honor and a responsibility. “My goal is to lead by example, on and off the court. Tennis is a sport of poise and class, and I hope to exemplify that for my team. To lead is not to command; it’s to serve, just as Christ served others.”

Reagan’s work ethic is evident in her training. “I’m on the court anywhere from 20 to 24 hours a week. If I’m not playing, I’m watching film of my matches or professional matches. To be a tennis player is to be a student of the sport,” she explained.
Reflecting on the challenges she’s faced, Reagan emphasized how much the game has taught her about resilience. “There are moments when you want to quit, but a small, crazy part of you ignites and reminds you how much you love the game. Tennis pushes you to your limits and beyond.”
Looking ahead, Reagan hopes to continue playing in college and growing both on and off the court. “I couldn’t imagine my life without tennis,” she shared. “It’s not just a sport to me—it’s my passion.”
