POND CREEK-HUNTER PANTHERS
Coach: TANNER BOWMAN
6-5
OFFENSE
The Pond Creek-Hunter Panthers are gearing up for a promising season with a solid core of returning players. “We like to utilize various formations and alignments,” said head coach Tanner Bowman, emphasizing their strategic versatility. The offense will be led by running back Cole Mitchell, wide receivers Ashton Banks and Titus Westrope, tight end Blayne Tefft, quarterback Caden Tefft, and offensive lineman Hunter Simpson. “Our spread offense is designed to keep defenses guessing and take advantage of mismatches,” Bowman added. “Titus is a good player. He is 6-foot-4 and is a great stalk blocker and receiver.” With five returning starters, the Panthers are poised for a productive offensive campaign.
DEFENSE
Defensively, the Panthers will employ a multiple defense that offers a variety of looks to keep opposing offenses on their toes. “We run a multiple defense that can give teams a variety of looks. We like to bring pressure from different places,” Bowman explained. Key defensive performers include linebacker Cole Mitchell, defensive lineman Carlos Robinson, defensive back Ashton Banks, and defensive ends Blayne Tefft and Noah Crouch. The Panthers are poised and prepared to improve from last season’s performance. With six returning starters, the defense aims to be a disruptive force throughout the season. The coaching staff includes Doug Bolin, Dakota Davis, and David Kerr.
